so at this point just do the altenator and belts and be done with it. Then, when you get the 60k done, no need for new belts. FWIW at this point, Chivas and I did his altenator, only took a couple of hours. You could have done the altenator and belts one Saturday morning with a friend, with out much difficulty. Basicaly get a new/rebuilt altenator and new belts, install new parts, return old altenator for refund of core charge. If it is not yet opened up and the car is still driveable we can do it Satrurday before the shore cruze. Laterz, Barry
